No, you only pay once for EVA. For this you get the EVA device (installation included) and access to our software portal. Using the portal is free of charge.
No, EVA is developed specifically to work on its own. This way our customers don’t have to worry about the configuration. This frees time for other activities.
For EVA to work correctly, it is recommended to request a dynamic energy contract. This way EVA can respond to different hourly prices.
In principle, you do not need residential batteries to work with EVA. However, we do not recommend this because EVA needs a way to start storing excess energy. So without residential batteries, EVA cannot provide optimized energy consumption.
The choice to offer a dynamic tariff ultimately remains with the supplier itself. Only energy suppliers with more than 200,000 customers are obliged to offer a dynamic tariff to their customers.
If you still have an analog counter, it is not possible to request a dynamic rate. This is not a problem. We can install EVA ahead of time so it can create a consumption profile in the meantime.
